OUR THOUGHTS
Better Because…of Growth

Spring is a wonderful season – a reminder that growth emerges from what already exists.   In my driveway the other day,  I was in awe of this wondrous sight –  beautiful blossoms peeking through the other trees.

Blossoms remind me of the cycles in life.  In the Fall, trees drop their canopy of leaves, then go dormant in the Winter.  Then, the Sun warms our hemisphere, and new signs of growth emerge…whether it’s wildflowers, or trees showing their palettes of color.

It’s a great reminder that in our lives, we each have opportunities for continuous growth.

This Spring, I completed a workshop with the Center for Creative Leadership in leadership assessments.  As my career grew, it was helpful to get feedback from colleagues on my strengths and opportunities for growth.  Later this Spring, I’ll complete my Leadership Coaching  program at Georgetown University and be a certified Executive Coach.

As part of making life a little better for others, I’m looking forward to helping business leaders in their quest for leadership growth.

Growth reminds me of a quote from George Bernard Shaw:

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”
